How to play
Double-six set, 7 tiles each. The rest form the boneyard. Whoever holds the highest double sets it as the first tile (if nobody has a double, the heaviest tile is set).
On your turn, tap one of your glowing tiles, then tap the glowing end of the chain (or use the ◀ Left end / Right end ▶ buttons). A tile must match the number on the open end it touches.
No match? Tap 🂠 Draw (or the boneyard pile) to draw a tile. You keep your turn — play as soon as you hold a tile that fits. If the boneyard is empty and you still can't play, tap Pass.
A round ends when a player plays their last tile ("Domino!") or when the table is blocked and nobody can move. The winner scores the pips left in the loser's hand; in a blocked round, the lower hand wins and scores the difference.
First to 100 wins the match. 💡 Tap the hint button for a suggested play. Sound is off by default — tap 🔊 to enable.
👥 Pass & play: two friends, one phone. A handoff screen hides the tiles between turns — pass the phone when it tells you to.
About Dominoes
Dominoes is the original friends-at-the-table game — tiles, talk, and just enough luck to keep every round honest. Our free online dominoes plays the classic draw game with a double-six set: match either open end of the chain, draw from the boneyard when you're stuck, and empty your hand to score every pip left in your opponent's hand.
Play it two ways: against the computer at three difficulties, or pass-and-play with a friend on one phone — the way dominoes has always been played, shoulder to shoulder. Blocked rounds go to the lower hand, and the first player to 100 points takes the match.
Quick tips
Shed your heaviest tiles early — every pip left in your hand at the end of a round is a point for your opponent.
Watch the ends you leave behind. If you can play on both numbers you create, your opponent's tiles matter less.
Count what's been played. Late in a round, the tile nobody can match is the tile that blocks the table.
Frequently asked questions
Is online dominoes free here?
Yes — free in your browser, no download, no signup, and no account needed.
Can two people play on one phone?
Yes. Choose "2 Players — pass & play" and a handoff screen hides the tiles between turns, so each player only ever sees their own hand.
How does scoring work?
Win a round by playing your last tile and you score every pip left in your opponent's hand. If the table blocks, the player holding fewer pips scores the difference. First to 100 wins the match.
